Our first project, the Krishna-Avanti Primary School opened in September 2008 in temporary accommodation, and we moved into our new premises in September 2009. The school is located in Edgware in the London Borough of Harrow.
When opened, the building was recognised as the most eco-friendly school in the UK and since then has gone on to win several architectural and sustainability awards.
The project is a one-form of entry mixed primary school and will open incrementally. The recent Ofsted report deemed the school as 'Good' with 'Outstanding features' and commented on the pupils' "first class behaviour and sense of purpose" and that the school's "Hindu traditions support fully the ethos of a 21st century British primary school..."
The school is massively oversubscribed, further evidencing the success of the school.
